Nick Agallar began his mixed martial arts fighting career in 1999. Having been a collegiate wrestler at Parkside College he found MMA an exciting new sport. He found that MMA fighting and training helped quench his competative thirst.
Until 2004 he fought 14 times compling a 11-3 record before going on a 16 month tour of duty of Iraq. His last fight before going to Iraq was a tough match with lightweight Yves Edawards which saw Nick lose via TKO. A week and a half later he was headed from the cage to the desert. Nick returned to fighting in 2005 fighting on Freestyle Combat Challenge 19 where he won via submission.
After going on a 5 fight win streak BodogFIGHT began to take an interest in Nick. He was chosen to be on the first season of BodogFIGHT’s reality TV show shot in Costa Rica. He won his first fight via TKO and was soon seen in full page advertisments across the country for BodogFIGHT.
Currently Nick is the owner and head instructor at Agallar Combative Systems, and as always, staying in shape preparing for his next fight. Nick is one of the premier lightweight fighters in the world. He combines explosive athletic wrestling with slick submission grappling and powerful striking to make him one of the sports most exciting fighters to watch.
